Rich Washburn is personally involved with every Washburn Builders project, including budgeting, cost accounting, and building. Rich personally supervises all critical areas of construction, and holds himself personally accountable to his clients for the smallest of details. Rich works closely with architects and is in direct control of his subcontractors, calling upon 37 years experience to ensure each and every project is built correctly.

2nd Generation Family-Owned Business

Richard H. Washburn, the father, manufactured airplane hangers and owned a millwork shop before building his first home in Trenton over 50 years ago. Rich joined the family business in 1970, working side by side with his father on numerous building projects, including the Sutphin Pines community, and took over business operations when his father retired in 1978. Like his father before him, Rich is dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of his clients – creatively, affordably, and responsibly.

Rich Washburn, a life-long resident of Bucks County, grew up along the Delaware River in Yardley, PA. After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture, he served in Vietnam as a U.S. Navy Lieutenant (j.g.) aboard a destroyer. Rich is the father of three grown children and resides in Pineville, PA with his wife Kathy.
